The asymmetry of a board is an attempt to account for the natural differences in human movement and body mechanics when surfing. Our bodies don’t work symmetrically, and our front and back foot each have different roles when we turn or pivot on the wave.

How fun could be to ride a twin in your toes, and a quad in your heels? We can tell you the answer, but we prefer if you find it by yourself. This fins have being designed for an asymmetrical board crafted as a twin in your toes, and a quad in your heel.

The sensation of riding an asymmetrical board is one of adaptation and discovery. Be curious.

The perfect fin

For curious surfers.

It’s never too late to spark your creativity with fresh designs and new styles of surfing. If the classic thruster has left you feeling uninspired, or if you're curious about exploring how different boards ride, asymmetrical shapes offer a thrilling challenge that can transform the way you experience the waves.

A bit of history

Asymmetrical boards started as experimental designs in the 1960s and 1970s, often tinkered with by innovators like Rick Rasmussen, George Greenough, and Tom Blake.

The 1980s marked the first real development of asymmetrical boards, with surfers like Tom Curren and Gerry Lopez testing out their benefits.

By the 1990s, shapers like Bob Pearson helped formalize the design, and the boards began to gain more recognition.

In the 2000s, technological advances in shaping and manufacturing led to the refinement and popularization of asymmetrical boards, both in performance and recreational surfing.

Today, asymmetrical surfboards are a respected and mainstream option for surfers seeking precision, fun, and a challenge.
